Job Description
We are seeking a Project Developer with good communication and project management skills for a challenging and rewarding career in the outdoor living industry. Our ideal candidate is willing to cover an area in the Katy/Fulshear or Cypress region to Design, Propose, Sell, and Manage residential construction projects. Project Management duties include ensuring high level of quality, material take-off and sourcing, scheduling material deliveries and labor, adhering to budgets.
Daily Job Duties:
- Meeting with customers to gather information for their project.
- Design and propose project to customer.
- Establish and maintain a project budget.
- Schedule and manage projects from start to finish.
- Clearly communicate the work to be completed by subcontractors.
- Review and update progress and cost reports, schedules, and requirements for completion on a regular basis to Operations Manager.
- Positive attitude and punctuality are a MUST

Education
- Driver’s License and US work authorization Required
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent major preferred
- Ability to Learn CAD program to create drawings and specifications.
Experience
- Residential Construction Experience Required

- Ability to create drawings and specifications.
- Ability to understand design and create material take-offs.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Demonstrates leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others, while maintaining effective relationships with customers by meeting or exceeding their expectations.
Knowledge
- Broad understanding of residential construction, plumbing, electrical, and masonry products.
- Basic math/accounting skills related to project management.
- General Project Management skills Preferred.
- General Sales Experience Preferred.
- Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, Project);
