Job Description

We are seeking a Project Developer with good communication and project management skills for a challenging and rewarding career in the outdoor living industry. Our ideal candidate is willing to cover an area in the Austin metroplex to Design, Propose, Sell, and Manage residential construction projects.  Project Management duties include ensuring high level of quality, material take-off and sourcing, scheduling material deliveries and labor, and adhering to budgets.   

Daily Job Duties:

  • Meeting with customers to gather information for their project.
  • Design and propose project to customer.
  • Establish and maintain a project budget.
  • Schedule and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Clearly communicate the work to be completed by subcontractors.
  • Review and update progress and cost reports, schedules, and requirements for completion on a regular basis to Operations Manager.  
  • Positive attitude and punctuality are a MUST

Education

  • Driver’s License and US work authorization Required
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent major preferred
  • Ability to Learn CAD program to create drawings and specifications.

Experience 

  • Residential Construction Experience Required
  • Client Focus with Ethics, Values, Integrity, Trust.

  • Good time management skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to understand design and create material take-offs.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.

  • Demonstrates leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others, while maintaining effective relationships with customers by meeting or exceeding their expectations.

Knowledge 

  • Broad understanding of residential construction, plumbing, electrical, and masonry products.
  • Basic math/accounting skills related to project management.
  • General Project Management skills Preferred.
  • General Sales Experience Preferred.
  • Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, Project);
