Patio Cover Extension with Outdoor Kitchen in Sugar Land, Texas

This custom outdoor living project in Sugar Land, Texas features a 77-square-foot patio cover extension seamlessly tied into the back of the home, along with 790 square feet of stamped concrete and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. The goal was to create a shaded, functional extension of the home that blends naturally with the existing architecture.

The patio cover was built as a true extension of the home, using Hardie beams and a Hardie ceiling finished in a custom paint color matched to the home’s existing cream exterior.

Stone and Hardie posts wrapped in Stonewall Blend masonry provide both structural support and visual continuity. As part of the project, two beam swaps were completed to remove the home’s original posts, opening up the space and creating a cleaner, more open backyard layout.
