It’s a new year and there’s no better time to get started on that new outdoor project. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your existing outdoor patio or do a complete transformation, we’re here to help you get things rolling. Starting the building process can be a bit intimidating and homeowners might not know where to begin or what to expect. We’re here to guide you through the process and make it as easy and stress free as possible. Here are some common topics we address when talking to customers at the inception stage of a project.

Where to Begin

Before getting started, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for in your new space. Some questions to consider would be:

How much square footage am I looking to add?

Do I want to build a new patio? Do I want to expand my existing patio?

Do I add an outdoor kitchen?

Do I want a fire feature?

What kind of visual aesthetic am I going for?

What budget am I comfortable with to get the overall project I am looking for?

What to Expect from Us

After giving us a call or submitting your online request for a quote, someone will discuss with you what your options are and connect you with one of our expert project developers for an in-home design consultation. During your initial home visit, we’ll determine if we can create the project you’re looking for and keep it within your budget range. After the initial visit, we will put together a proposal for your new project and follow up with you. Once everyone agrees on the ideal project design and you’re ready to get started, we handle all city permits and/or HOA approval forms. After those forms are approved, the building stage will start. Your project developer will lead you through this entire process from beginning to the final project completion.

    How Long Will It Take?

The whole process can take anywhere from six to eight weeks after a design has been confirmed and the proper paperwork has been submitted and approved. Remember, Spring and Summer tend to be peak seasons for outdoor living companies, so if you’re looking to have your patio completed by a certain time or date, it is important to give yourself enough time to complete the process.
