Greatwood Outdoor Living Space
Centered around a gorgeous custom fireplace, this patio cover in the Greatwood neighborhood of Sugarland turned a drab Pergola space into an abundant and useful outdoor living space.

Patio Cover
The patio cover is an extension of the main house, seamlessly blending with its architecture and style. It is constructed with high-quality materials, featuring a sturdy wooden framework that complements the natural surroundings. The roof is designed to provide ample shade, protecting the area from harsh sunlight and light rain.

A well-designed seating area surrounds the fireplace, featuring comfortable outdoor furniture with plush cushions. This space encourages relaxation and fosters intimate conversations, making it a perfect spot for family gatherings or social gatherings with friends. Another cool feature under the patio cover is the pool table. It’s a great way to have a little competitive fun with friends.

Outdoor Fireplace
At the heart of the patio, a magnificent stone fireplace stands as a focal point and a source of warmth during cooler evenings. The fireplace is crafted from beautiful natural stone, adding a rustic and elegant touch to the overall ambiance. It is equipped with a chimney to channel smoke safely away from the seating area. It features a tiered design with subtle lighting that makes the features pop.

To protect the space from the elements, automatic shades were installed. These greatly cool down the area and reduce the brightness from the sun during the summer months. In wintertime, it helps retain the heat emitted from the fireplace.

A simple yet purposeful outdoor kitchen was installed opposite of the fireplace. It features a refrigerator and trash drawer.

The sprawling ceiling sports recessed lighting that casts a warm glow over the space. Smokey bourbon tongue and groove paneling adds a touch of class to the space.

A small and restricting space covered by a pergola existed before Tradition Outdoor Living built the new patio cover.
