Cypress Outdoor Living Addition
These Cypress homeowners were looking to expand their covered space. Tradition Outdoor Living brought the roof out, built a fireplace, and remodeled the outdoor kitchen.

Patio Cover
The patio cover area includes an outdoor kitchen, dining area, and living area surrounding the fireplace.

The columns that support the structure were finished with brick that matches the original home.

The original flooring of the space was kept in place to match the rest of the backyard.

A custom fireplace was constructed with a stone finish. A gas insert was put in. Gas fireplaces are convenient to light and easy to maintain.

A unique feature of this outdoor living space is the extended countertop. It follows the perimeter of the patio cover and connects to the fireplace. The stone finish matches the fireplace and outdoor kitchen. Sliding doors unveil a storage compartment for outdoor games and equipment.

The existing outdoor kitchen was renovated to match the rest of the new space. A stone finish and stone countertop were applied.

Texas honey brown tongue and groove wood panels were installed in the ceiling. There is also recessed lighting and fans to keep the area cool.

The fireplace area supplies plenty of room for friends and family to lounge and swap stories.

All of the openings in the space were fitted with Rollac retractable shades. They are great for keeping the space cool and preventing unwanted pests from flying about.

Here is another shot of the entire patio with the screens down.

Beforehand there was a small patio cover. The new extension turned it into a full fledged outdoor living space.
