We recently completed a custom backyard project in Houston, Texas, featuring a beautiful combination of a patio cover, outdoor kitchen, and fire pit — all designed to complement the newly built pool by our partner, Omega Pools. This space was built for year-round entertaining, relaxation, and outdoor enjoyment.

We recently completed a custom backyard project in Houston, Texas, featuring a beautiful combination of a patio cover, outdoor kitchen, and fire pit — all designed to complement the newly built pool by our partner, Omega Pools. This space was built for year-round entertaining, relaxation, and outdoor enjoyment.

The outdoor kitchen sits along a privacy brick wall that doubles as an outdoor shower on the opposite side — a functional and creative use of space. It’s equipped with a Recteq grill, Blaze burner, and RCS appliances, offering a complete cooking setup for any occasion. The granite countertop provides durability and elegance, while a TV mount on the privacy wall makes it easy to relax and entertain outdoors. The base of the kitchen is finished with chopped stone that matches the custom-built fire pit, tying the materials together across the space.

The fire pit area offers a comfortable gathering spot for cooler evenings, built from the same chopped stone for visual consistency. The cool concrete flooring runs throughout the entire patio and pool area, making it ideal for barefoot comfort and long-term durability in Houston’s warm climate.
