Set just off a golf course, this custom patio is a stunning extension of the home, built to match its surroundings and elevate outdoor living. The posts are constructed with Cimarron Chop Stone, offering a rich, earthy texture that complements the landscape.

Tradition Outdoor Living recently completed a stunning backyard project in Houston, Texas — a custom patio cover that extends seamlessly from the back of the home, transforming the outdoor area into a complete living and entertainment space. The layout was carefully designed so that as you walk out the back door, you step directly under the cover, surrounded by thoughtful details and cohesive craftsmanship.

The patio features a Natural Cedar tongue and groove ceiling with recessed lighting and two large black metal fans, creating both brightness and comfort. The beams and pillars are finished with white-painted Hardie plank, giving the space a clean, modern look that complements the home’s exterior.

It's fully equipped with high-end Blaze grill, RCS appliances, trash pull-out, ice machine, refrigerator, storage space, and a sink—everything needed for effortless outdoor entertaining.

Outdoor Kitchen

The outdoor kitchen is the centerpiece of functionality, built with a sleek gray brick base and topped with modern cement countertops. It’s fully equipped with RCS appliances — including a grill, sink, fridge, trash bin, and ample storage — along with a Le Griddle cooktop and dedicated space for a large smoker. This layout provides everything needed for cooking, hosting, and entertaining outdoors.

 

Adding to the luxury and comfort of this outdoor retreat is a custom fireplace built with the same Cimarron Chop Stone used throughout the patio and kitchen, creating a consistent and high-end aesthetic.

The fireplace serves as a stunning focal point in the back corner of the patio. Built with matching gray brick and topped with a clean mantle, it features a TV mounted above and a full chimney extending through the patio cover for natural wood-burning warmth. The design also includes a convenient nook for firewood storage, ensuring both beauty and practicality in every detail.

 

 

Granite Countertops

Along the far right side, a built-in bench flows into the fireplace and connects seamlessly to the outdoor kitchen, forming a large, functional “U” shape that frames the space beautifully.
