Creating an outdoor living space that feels like a natural extension of the home requires careful planning, quality materials, and features designed around the homeowner's lifestyle. For this project in Magnolia, Texas, our team designed and built a beautiful 30' x 19' covered patio complete with a custom outdoor kitchen, premium heating solutions, and stunning architectural finishes.

This 408-square-foot outdoor living space was designed with a striking 12-foot-tall semi-vaulted ceiling, creating an open and airy feel while still providing full shade and weather protection.

Patio Cover

The focal point of this Magnolia, Texas, outdoor living area is a roomy patio canopy that offers comfort, shade, and weather protection. The structure's sturdy Hardie-finished beams and supports give it a low-maintenance, tidy look that matches the exterior of the house.

The standout feature of this Houston outdoor living space is the fully loaded outdoor kitchen. The kitchen base is wrapped in Texas Blend stone, and it is topped with a luxurious Fantasy Brown granite countertop.

Outdoor Kitchen

The kitchen base is finished with matching Autumn Blend stone, creating a cohesive appearance with the patio's stone columns and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the backyard.

At the center of the kitchen is a 40-inch Le Griddle griddle, providing ample cooking space for preparing meals for family and friends. Known for their exceptional performance and durability, Le Griddle appliances are a favorite among homeowners who love outdoor cooking.

 

To complete the space, we installed a beautiful gas fireplace finished in matching Texas Blend stone. The fireplace features a 42-inch Courtyard insert from Perfection Fireplace & Supply, creating a cozy centerpiece perfect for year-round enjoyment.

Looking overhead, the patio cover features a tongue-and-groove ceiling stained in a rich West Coast IPA finish. The warm wood tones add depth and character to the outdoor space while creating a welcoming atmosphere for family gatherings and entertaining guests.

 

The foundation of this outdoor living area is stamped concrete flooring, providing both durability and visual appeal. Stamped concrete remains one of the most popular choices for homeowners because it delivers the appearance of premium materials while offering long-lasting performance and low maintenance.
