Patio Cover and Carport in Pecan Grove

This project in Richmond has two prominent features: a patio cover and carport. Both structures are extented out from a detached garage that sits on the back of the property. Under the patio cover sits a limestone fireplace and a custom outdoor kitchen. The existing pool was resurfaced as well.

Custom Patio Cover

This patio brings this backyard to the next level. The gable style roof is a sturdy extension connected to the existing garage. A fireplace and outdoor kitchen are built into the structure. The pool was also resurfaced to bring a more modern feel to the area.

Perfect for staying cool in the summer shade or keeping warm next to the fireplace in the winters, this patio cover is ready to go year-round. Lights in the ceiling and lanters hanging on the columns bring soft illumination to the whole backyard.

Custom Outdoor Kitchen

Bringing a touch of modern to the area, this outdoor kitchen features a green egg, grill, burner, sink, refrigerator, and drawers for storage. A smooth stone slab serves as the countertop.

The outdoor living area features plenty of space to cook and relax around the fireplace. It is finished with limestone rock and wood paneling on the ceiling.

The view of the sunset over the pool in the evening brings relaxing vibes to the home.

Fireplace

This wood burning fireplace brings the heat to the outdoor living space during the colder months. It is finished with limestone and features a small bench and mantel built with stone that matches the counter tops that surround the perimeter.

Custom Carport

The carport extends out over the driveway towards the street. It has plenty of room to cover two cars comfortably and keep them safe from the elements.

The carport was built over the existing concrete driveway. It can be used to park vehicles under or even as a second covered patio area to set up tables and chairs for large events or family gatherings.

A view from under the carport looking into the backyard outdoor living space. With a carport in addition to a garage, there is enough space to fit four cars under the protective roofing.
